Guild Wars in new PC Gamer
Just picked up the newest PC Gamer at a store and saw that they have picked Guild Wars as the best MMO of 2005 and picked it as the best value of 2005. They also make mention of Guild Wars in several other places throughout the mag, like they tell about the holiday events and such that Anet does for its players.
Kinda cool

Computer Gaming World has a very indepth article about Faction. I wasn't going to buy it but after reading it, seen all the asian theme, new sexy female characters and all changed my mind.

Bellyflop - what are you talking about!?!
I'm currently subscribed to both pc gamer and Computer Gaming World here in the US
When I lived in Europe I subscribed to pczone (uk)
The US gaming mags are vastly inferior to the UK ones.
It takes about 4 times as long to read a UK one - coz guess what - they actually have content!!
In the latest pcgamer US there is several sections of it where there are 4 pages of double spread consecutive ads.
I will say that the DVD/CD content on the US is much better and that's the sole reason why I'm subcribed.
Oh and by the way the opener of the thread is taking about th US pc gamer.
Get your facts right before posting flamable post.

I agree with you about the magazines in general, but PCZone has got to be THE WORST pc magazine i've ever read. For example latest issue's Factions article. 3 pages, the text of whih could be put onto half that number. Half of the tezt is meandering nonsense so you end up with about half a page of actual content. Reading through the rest of the magazine is no better. Most of it is pretty (or not) pictures.

Depends what you're looking for.... me I like a laugh while reading reviews, scoops, etc..
PCZone I believe does have the largest PC subscription base in the UK so it can't be that bad for everyone.
But lets face it anything is better than wasted space on ads.
